The first joint colloquium was held between Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Osaka University on 26 November 2019 at Auditorium Murad Mohd Noor with the theme "Strategizing Partnership for Smarter Collaboration". Institute of Nano Optoelectronics Research and Technology (INOR), USM is very fortunate to be part of the organizing committees under Research and Innovation (R&I) office. This colloquium features Invited Talks from professors coming from Osaka University and Keynote Talks delivered by Prof. Ysufumi Fujiwara from Osaka University, Prof. Dr. Zainuriah Hassan from INOR, USM, and Dr. David Lacey from Osram Opto Semiconductors (M) Sdn. Bhd.
